Dino Day was one of a number of HATCH fundraising events during what has officially been declared Haddonfield's "Year of the Dinosaur." The slogan and profile of Hadrosaurus foulkii was featured on Dino Day admission buttons (above, left). Haddonfield Middle School student Gregory Horwitz performed as Barney the purple dinosaur (above, right), helping to herd younger dinosaurs safely down the parade route.

Among the featured guests at Dino Day were Bruce and Melissa Foulke (above, left) with their son, TK, and daughters Meredith and Kelly. The Foulkes are related to William Parker Foulke, who discovered Haddonfield's dinosaur in 1858. Mayor Tish Colombi (above, right) announced the names of the 22 finalists in a contest held throughout Haddonfield schools to give Hadrosaurus a name. The winner will be announced at the October sculpture dedication.
